Architect

Architect Mark Walker, practising in rural Perthshire and teaching at Edinburgh School of Art, has produced a timber frame house design that has been awarded an RIBA Award for Architecture 2001. The house is an example of how this architect can produce a home in Scotland and an example of Scottish architecture that accomodates contemporary living styles, meets planning requirements and has huge spaces and fine materials and yet at low cost.
